NetRecruit System Requirements
At a minimum you can run NetRecruit on a Windows 98 PC with 64M RAM. Naturally a modern PC
with more RAM will give the best results. You need Outlook for email.
For small workgroups it is possible to run the database on one powerful PC with the license-free Desktop Edition of Microsoft SQL Server (MSDE), and then share the database with other users.
N.B. The CV free-text search capability is not supported by this version of SQL
server.
For larger organisations you should utilise a dedicated database and file server running Windows 2000 Server and SQL Server 2000. The server needs to be sized appropriately for your organisation, but as always the more RAM, CPUs, and disk I/O available to the server the better the results that can be obtained. Ideally the database server should not be placed on the same server as the eMail server.
Remote access is possible using Citrix terminal services.
